In Q2 2008, the Q2 2008 Beyond.com Career Trends Report found that the industries with the largest percentage decrease in jobs over the previous quarter included: Management & Business (-3.41%), Accounting & Finance (-0.91%), and Engineering & Architecture (-0.21%).

According to Beyond.com, Healthcare & Medical proved to be one of the most recession proof industries in Q2 2008 by experiencing one of the largest percentage gain in jobs over the previous quarter with 0.52% and the largest percentage gain over the past 12 months with 2.15%. This sector now holds the #2 spot for online job postings representing 12.65% of all jobs posted to the Beyond.com network.
